Call to Mobilize Across France (For Paris, Protest on December 17th at 2pm at Place de la République)

Stop the massacres in Gaza and the West Bank! Total and permanent ceasefire, protection of the Palestinian people!
What is happening in Gaza is a crime against all humanity.
After a few days of ceasefire, the bombings, military attacks by land, air and sea have immediately resumed with more intensity than before the ceasefire. The Israeli army is now targeting the South, where hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to seek refuge. In total, 1.9 million people have been displaced.
It’s a atrocious and criminal war undertaken by the state of Israel against the Palestinian population of Gaza. The 18,000 dead, including over 70% women and children, the 49,000 injured, the thousands missing, the devastated families, and the 75 journalists killed are lives and faces that need to be remembered. We condemn the indiscriminate mass arrests in the Gaza population, they are being carried out in inhumane and degrading conditions.
This is a war that aims to empty Gaza of its population by any means necessary. The crimes committed on October 7 cannot justify such an attack against an entire population and its vital infrastructure. An untold number of Palestinian journalists have been injured, detained, more of their press card revoked and equipment confiscated. Their ability to work has been severely compromised. It is a tragedy that their precious work can no longer reach a wider audience. The acts of aggression started some days ago and is being going on until now.
UN. Secretary-General Guterres has activated Article 99 to alert of a humanitarian catastrophe “with irreversible consequences for the Palestinians as a whole and for peace and security in the region.” We denounce the US veto at the Security Council on 8 December that thwarted a resolution demanding a ceasefire. This veto is a permit to massacre issued to Netanyahu.
