OOP 2023: Book the summer edition of the traditional software conference now

The OOP software conference, which has traditionally been held in Munich’s ICM, underwent changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The on-site edition of the conference in early 2020 was followed by successful online editions. However, the upcoming summer OOP will take place at the Westin Grand Hotel from July 3rd to 5th. Visitors can choose from over 70 lectures on contemporary software architecture, which are organized into four different tracks.

The OOP is a must-attend event, especially for software architects, as it offers an opportunity to engage in discussions about the current state of software architecture and explore ways to find solutions to individual challenges. This year’s program covers a wide range of topics related to modern software architecture, including best practices and patterns, software engineering techniques, leadership, innovation, and much more.

Furthermore, the keynote lectures by Frank Buschmann, Kevlin Henney, Eva Wolfangel, and Janina Loh offer new perspectives on technological innovations and the lessons learned from software development over the last few decades. The entire program is available on the conference website, where attendees can also find information on prices, venue, and other details.

The OOP is organized by SIGS DATACOM, which recently became part of the Heise Medien Group, and the event is expected to return to the ICM in 2024.
