In mid-January 2024, Jay’s Pizza will open its doors in the 10th arrondissement with the ambition of introducing the true slices of pizza, those soft and cheese-filled slices that the Ninja Turtles and Joey Tribbiani gobble up by the batch.
And nothing beats real New Yorkers to sign this New York street food! Behind Jay’s Pizza are two friends Jayan Fazal-Karim and Simo Khalifa, passionate about good food and inspired by the countless Italo-American discoveries they have made over the years in the Big Apple.
From midnight until noon, head to this 90’s themed restaurant to experience the American way and chow down on the 4 pizzas on the menu, all made from carefully sourced ingredients: homemade tomato sauce made from Roman tomatoes, olive oil from Jay’s family’s Italian estate, quality mozzarella fior di latte, and freshly grated parmesan.
So, are you more of a Classic Cheese pizza (the US name for margherita) or a Pepperoni pizza generously topped with slices from a Parisian butcher? The hardest part will be choosing!
