Already qualified, France crushes China on the road to Paris 2024

The Les Bleues played their second match this Saturday in China. The game quickly turned in favor of the Tricolores, led by the duo Gabby Williams and Marine Johannes, who each scored 17 points.

After a well-controlled first quarter (17-10), the players of Jean-Aimé Toupane took a strong lead in the second quarter and went into halftime with a comfortable 44-24 advantage. The Tricolores accelerated their pace at the beginning of the second half, but then somewhat relaxed towards the end of the match, ultimately winning 82-50.

This is the second victory for the Les Bleues after the match against Porto Rico. It’s important to note that these qualifications aren’t really necessary for the French team, as they are already guaranteed a spot in the Olympics. However, it allows the team to make its final adjustments before this summer.
