Alba Berlin Defeats Brose Bamberg and Remains at the Top of the Bundesliga

Alba Berlin proved to be the better team, beating its former arch-rival Brose Bamberg 84:67 in the Bundesliga. Though the German champion had a shaky start, it bounced back in the second half to secure a comfortable victory.

In the game, Alba Berlin enjoyed some welcome returns as Tamir Blatt (25) and Johannes Thiemann (29) were fielded after recovering from their injuries. Only Marcus Eriksson (29) remains a long-term casualty due to his foot problems, which has plagued him for nearly two years.

When asked about the game, Thiemann said, “We were too careless in the first half and let ourselves be overcome by tiredness. After the change, we wanted to shift up a gear, and that’s what we did.”

Best Throwers of the Game

Yanni Wetzell, Jaleen Smith, and Gabriele Procida are the best throwers of the game. They each scored 16 points for Alba Berlin. For Procida, this is the best value he has achieved in his still short time in the Bundesliga.
