The 78-year-old actor Pierre Arditi suffered a malaise on stage during a theater performance in Paris on Wednesday evening, according to BFMTV. Arditi is currently starring in “Lapin” alongside Muriel Robin at the Edouard VII theater in Paris.
After experiencing the malaise, Arditi was conscious and taken care of by firefighters before being transported to the hospital for examinations. His wife, Evelyne Bouix, was immediately notified. The audience was evacuated from the theater 20 minutes after the play began. Muriel Robin reportedly requested the production to lower the curtain when she noticed that her co-star was not responding normally. No information has been released regarding Arditi’s health condition, but BFMTV stated that he may have suffered a stroke.
