The person was spotted by patrolling police officers at the station.
On Monday, February 19th, an individual “allegedly brandished a knife and slapped” a person in a subway car before being spotted at the exit of the car by patrol police at the scene, a police source told Le Figaro, confirming the information from the media actu.fr.
The man allegedly brandished two knives in front of the police, according to the same police source, who did not mention any “crowd movement.” According to the site actu.fr, he was then apprehended at the Villiers station in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
