A 72-Year-Old Amateur Runner from Brittany to Participate in the Paris Olympics

For the first time in the history of the Olympics, the general public will be allowed to participate in two events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the marathon for everyone (42 km) and the 10 km race. A total of 400,000 applications were received for the two races by the Olympic committee. Each race has 20,024 bibs allocated equally between men and women.

The races will begin on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in the evening to avoid the intense heat, and will start at the Hôtel-de-Ville square.
