The national temperature indicator could drop below 0°C on Tuesday, potentially making it the coldest day of the episode in nearly six years, according to Météo France. The agency has issued a cold weather alert for 39 departments, primarily in the large northeastern quarter of the country, as well as in Île-de-France, the Centre, the Massif Central, and Normandy.
