Hansa Rostock in Search of Home Win Against Düsseldorf
Hansa Rostock is set to face Düsseldorf on Sunday, and the team is hopeful that they will finally get a victory they so desperately need. The second division side has made four attempts this year to win a home game but has failed to do so. In fact, they are the worst home team in the league, with only ten points from twelve games.
The team has been trying their best, according to Hansa trainer Patrick Glöckner, and that’s all they can do. The coach is aware that the team has a long way to go and said, “The way has to be right.” The team needs to improve their attack and defense strategies to increase their chances of winning.
Whenever Glöckner’s team scored a goal – four times in nine games – there were also points. In Braunschweig and Bielefeld, it was enough to win, and against Nuremberg and in Hanover, they earned at least one point. However, the team has struggled with efficiency, with only 4.7 percent of their chances resulting in hits. Only Nuremberg has a worse record.
Despite this, Glöckner remains optimistic and trusts in the individual qualities of each player. He acknowledged that the team needs to work on their chance conversion to increase their chances of winning.
The team is aware that their performance has not been satisfactory, but they remain hopeful that they will turn things around. The coach is calling for the support of the fans and said, “It’s important for us that we get the support of the fans. We want to turn this together for the better.”
Unfortunately, there are a few injury concerns for the team. Midfielder Maurice Litka is out due to an injury, and striker John Verhoek did not train on Friday either. Their participation in Sunday’s game is questionable.
Hansa Rostock may have struggled this season, but they remain a fighting force. With determination and the support of their fans, the team hopes to secure a win against Düsseldorf.
