The Parisian metro line 14 is closed from February 11th to 25th due to construction work. Parisians are asked to use the rest of the transport network during this period.
This marks a new closure for line 14. For the first time this year, the automated line will not be in service for two weeks, until February 25th. A closure for maintenance work that commuters are used to.
As a result, passengers are encouraged to use other lines of the Paris network to get around.
In the north of the line, many passengers can use line 13 as an alternative, between Mairie de Saint-Ouen and Saint-Lazare or Porte de Clichy and Saint-Lazare. As with each closure of line 14, line 13 is expected to experience high traffic. The RATP has prepared for this with additional transport services.

The RATP recommends travelers use line 7 to go from Pyramides or Châtelet to Maison Blanche, which is a nearby stop to Olympiades.
Substitute buses for line 14 are also in place to cover the southern part of the line, between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades.
Travelers can also take several buses on certain parts of the line, or other metro lines for connections. Details of the substitute transport are available on the RATP website.
After line 14, line 8 will also be closed from February 16th to 23rd between Balard and La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle, with no direct impact on the last Parisian line.
