A control judge linked the process to Cardiel Junior ‘N’, accused of forcing a woman to prostitute herself in the streets and hotels of the Cuauhtémoc and Iztapalapa de la Mexico City. This subject threatened the victim with killing his family if he refused to perform sexual work.
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJ CdMx) announced that Cardiel Junior will face criminal proceedings, for his probable participation in the crime of human trafficking, in the modality of sexual exploitation.
He explained that according to the investigations, the defendant used a taxi to take the victim to the people with whom he forced her to have sex. When he refused to do this activity, threatened to deprive her or her family of life.
Therefore, the agent of the Public Ministry assigned to the Office of the Prosecutor for Investigation of Crimes in the matter of Trafficking in Persons, asked a control judge for an arrest warrant against Cardiel Junior ‘N’, which was executed in the past days.
In a statement, the capital’s prosecutor’s office specified that after being linked to the process, a period of two months was set for the closure of the complementary investigation. Meanwhile, he will be in the East Men’s Preventive Prison.
