Mike Krüger Proves He’s Faster Than Deutsche Bahn at 71

Mike Krüger mocks Deutsche Bahn: "I'm even faster than you at 71"

The German railway company, Deutsche Bahn, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons recently. With constant train delays, debts nearing 30 billion euros, and a possible mega strike scheduled for March 27th, chaos seems to be on the horizon for the XL train. However, one man is taking a more relaxed approach – cult entertainer and train driver Mike Krüger.

Krüger, who is 71 years old and known for his stupid songs, has written a new song called “Für 49 per Bahn” to vent his frustration about the state of the railway system. In a country style, he jokes about “Ticket Zoff” (ticket chaos) and the prospect of a strike, singing that he is “even faster than” Deutsche Bahn.

Despite the problems faced by the railway system, Krüger still finds humor in the situation. He recalls a time when he asked at the service counter when his train would arrive, and the employee replied, “It can’t be much longer, the tracks are already there.”

Krüger is not the only one experiencing frustration with Deutsche Bahn. Actress Julie Delpy recently took the ICE 690 train from Munich to Berlin and was disappointed with the service. Despite being told by a railway employee that there would be no problems, the train was around 35 minutes late, and Delpy wrote on Instagram, “No train works.” She advises her followers never to travel by train in Germany and to walk if possible.

It seems that the problems faced by Deutsche Bahn are not going away anytime soon, and with a possible strike looming, passengers should brace themselves for even more delays and disruptions. However, in the meantime, Krüger’s relaxed music may offer some respite from the stresses of train travel.
