Meghan and Harry Distressed about South Park Parody

Meghan and Harry upset over 'South Park' parody

Duchess Meghan is the subject of the latest episode of the popular US animated series “South Park”. However, it is not just her that is targeted but her husband, Prince Harry, as well. The episode, titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour”, features a royal couple from Canada who bear a striking resemblance to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The episode’s content includes several allusions to the two exile royals, as well as Queen Elizabeth, who is said to appear in the show.

In the opening scenes of the episode, the Canadian Queen is shown lying in an open coffin during her funeral. Later on, the Prince gets into a fight with the Earl of Halifax (presumably Prince William in real life) after he assaults his wife. The couple also have a stint on a Canadian talk show to promote Harry’s new book, where they storm off after Harry yells, “My Instagram-loving slut of a woman always wanted her privacy.” The couple then move to South Park in search of solitude, where they get into a neighborhood fight with Kyle.

South Park is a socially critical animated series that has been on air since 1997. The show, which centers around four boys attending elementary school in the small town of South Park, Colorado, often tackles sensitive political issues, resulting in a fair share of controversy and backlash.

However, Meghan’s legal team has reportedly taken issue with this particular episode of the show, according to a report by “Mirror”. Royal expert Neil Sean cited Harry and Meghan’s history of taking legal action over such matters, potentially leading to legal consequences. Another expert, Kinsey Schofield, stated that Meghan was particularly upset by the parody, as it could damage her political goals.

While South Park is known for pushing the limits of humor, it seems that in this case, the line may have been crossed for the Duchess of Sussex. It remains to be seen whether any legal action will be taken by the couple in the aftermath of the episode’s release.
