Marvel’s ‘Deadpool 3’ Enlists ‘Succession’ Star: HBO Collaborates for Merc with a Mouth’s Next Adventure

The end of ‘Succession’ is near and as we watch the Roys begin to disband, we’re starting to see the future projects of the show’s actors. Matthew Macfadyen, who played Tom Wambsgans, has landed a role in ‘Deadpool 3’ alongside Ryan Reynolds, Emma Corrin, and Hugh Jackman. Macfadyen’s role in the film has yet to be revealed, but the cast and director of the movie have fans excited.

The upcoming Marvel movie serves as Marvel’s first mutant movie after regaining the rights from Fox. It promises to be a fun-filled ride for audiences, poking fun at past superhero blockbusters and the drama between studios. Additionally, ‘Deadpool 3’ is a first for the MCU as it will be rated R, meaning no one under 18 will be allowed to watch the film in theaters.

Macfadyen is currently filming for ‘Holland, Michigan,’ which is a thriller directed by Mimi Cave. The film stars Nicole Kidman and Gael García Bernal, and Cave’s previous work has already impressed audiences.

Brian Cox, who played Logan Roy, will provide the voice for an animated film based on the Rohirrim war in ‘The Lord of the Rings.’ Hiam Abbass, who portrayed Marcia Roy, will be appearing in the upcoming fifth installment of the ‘Insidious’ horror franchise.

The cast members of ‘Deadpool 3’ seem to be all set to take on this exciting new project along with Shawn Levy, who has directed Ryan Reynolds in the past in films including ‘Free Guy’ and ‘The Adam Project.’ Fans can’t wait to see how the projects pan out for the ‘Succession’ family in the future.
