Kolo Muani’s Dream of Playing for Big Clubs
French World Cup star Randal Kolo Muani has expressed his openness to leaving Eintracht Frankfurt this summer. He told sports newspaper L’Equipe, “I’m trying to focus on my club. We’re continuing our performances, and we’ll see in the summer. I’ve always dreamed of playing at big clubs.”
Kolo Muani reflected on the whirlwind of the last six months, saying, “It all happened very quickly. I thought it would take me some time to adjust, maybe a year. But it all exploded.” Despite only just joining Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer from FC Nantes, the 24-year-old has been a standout player in the Bundesliga.
Initially omitted from the French squad for the World Cup in Qatar, Kolo Muani was called up to replace an injured Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig. He had a golden opportunity to score the winning goal in the final against Argentina but missed his chance. Since the World Cup, Kolo Muani said, “A lot has changed. The opponents would now defend against him in threes or fours.”
“This final was a stage, because now I want this World Cup. I want to win trophies,” emphasized Kolo Muani, who seems eager to play for a team capable of winning titles.
Eintracht Frankfurt is currently placed 5th in the Bundesliga, and Kolo Muani’s departure would be a severe blow to the team’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League. However, the striker’s impressive performances have caught the attention of several big European clubs, and he might well end up fulfilling his dream of landing at one of Europe’s elite clubs.
Only time will tell where Kolo Muani will end up this summer, but it seems evident that he is set to take the next step in his career and play for a team capable of winning grand prizes.
