It’s been a tumultuous time for former GZSZ star Jasmin Tawil (40) who has been separating from her boyfriend, the Italian Miquele A. (40), who she alleges was abusive towards her. As the drama unfolded, Tawil found herself in a psychiatric hospital San José which she was finally able to leave after a week. Now, she’s staying in a hotel in the capital of Costa Rica and wants her son Ocean (3) back who is currently being held in a children’s home.
Unfortunately, Tawil won’t be able to see her son anytime soon. It’s unclear which children’s home Ocean is being kept in, and the location is kept a secret to prevent family members from causing unrest. Additionally, authorities will only allow Ocean to be released with a person who has a power of attorney issued by the youth welfare office.
Sources close to the matter have revealed that while Ocean realizes something is wrong, he’s well accommodated and gets on well with the other children in the home. Meanwhile, Tawil’s father Michael Weber (63) is applying for custody of his grandson from the German authorities and will decide in consultation with Tawil whether Ocean will return to Germany or Mallorca.
Tawil herself is considered someone who is difficult to talk out of when she has set her mind to something, but hard days still lie ahead for her. It remains uncertain whether she is legally able to leave Costa Rica, given that her visa has expired and she is facing charges for burglary and other crimes. Nevertheless, it is possible that the authorities may want to get rid of Tawil as quickly as possible despite the ongoing proceedings.
