Critical infrastructures (KRITIS) are subject to special security requirements, as stated in Section 8a (1) BSIG. Operators of these companies and public institutions must regularly prove to the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that their IT security measures align with current standards. This involves implementing appropriate organizational and technical measures to prevent disruptions that could compromise the availability, confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of their IT systems.
To help individuals comply with these requirements, we are offering a two-day iX workshop focused on special test procedure competence for Section 8a BSIG. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the KRITIS requirements and be able to specifically prepare for tests related to Section 8a BSIG. Upon successful completion of the final exam, participants will receive the additional qualification of “Special test procedure competence for § 8a BSIG.” This qualification allows them to conduct security checks for Section 8a BSIG on behalf of the Federal Office for Information Security.
The workshop will be led by Christin Nebauer, an expert in security and IT management at HiSolutions. Her professional expertise lies in advising and supporting companies in the implementation of information security management systems. This iX workshop follows the BSI training concept and is open to anyone interested, with a particular focus on auditors, such as internal auditors, auditors with experience in IT auditing, employees of auditing companies, and operators of critical infrastructures.
To facilitate an optimal learning experience and encourage exchange among participants, this training will be limited to 12 participants. Further information and registration can be found on our homepage.
