HomePod 2’s Availability Boosted: Expect Significant Improvements

HomePod 2: Significantly improved availability

The much-awaited second-generation HomePod has finally begun to become more widely available after being presented in January. Originally selling out quickly and seeing waiting times of up to three to four weeks, now the black HomePod 2 (“Midnight”) and white variant are becoming increasingly available.

At Apple stores and online, the HomePod 2 is now available for purchase with delivery times of around two days. Prices also seem to be starting to fall, with the cheapest price found to be just over €342, a little over €7 cheaper than Apple’s own price.

The HomePod 2 is a modernized version of the original HomePod, featuring the “S7” chip and ultra-wideband module for improved sound quality and music transfer. It is equipped with five tweeters and a high-excursion woofer for powerful bass.

It can be assumed that the price may continue to fall over time, as Apple had already lowered the price of the original HomePod less than a year after its release. The HomePod 2 has already seen its first discounts since its release.
