Get Ready for AnimeBox’s Weekly Releases: Boruto: Naruto the Movie Kicks off the Excitement!

AnimeBox: A New Streaming Platform for Anime Lovers

Anime lovers rejoice! It has been a week since the release of the new streaming platform, AnimeBox, by Selecta Visión. The platform is dedicated entirely to Japanese animation, with the main premise being to enjoy its content, not only in the original version but also dubbed into Spanish, Catalan, and other autonomous languages.

Although the platform has licenses for popular series such as Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Kimetsu no Yaiba, or Shingeki no Kyojin, the AnimeBox catalog is somewhat scarce. Several users have expressed their complaints about the platform’s limited availability of some of the series. Some of the series only have their first season available, while powerful franchises such as Dragon Ball only have Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection in their catalog, which is not one of its best films.

While it is true that AnimeBox follows the plan of not revealing all its cards from the beginning, certain products, such as the Dragon Ball series, would undoubtedly have been a great asset to attract a greater number of subscribers, even if only the first season was available.

AnimeBox Premieres: Boruto: Naruto the Movie

Despite its limited catalog, AnimeBox has some exciting premieres lined up. The platform will soon add seasons of series such as Ranma 1/2, InuYasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Naruto to its catalog, as confirmed on social media.

This week, AnimeBox is adding Boruto: Naruto the Movie to its catalog. The anime film serves as a sequel to the events of Naruto, set several years after the Fourth Ninja War, with Naruto Uzumaki as the Seventh Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. However, the main focus is on Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto and Hinata’s eldest son, who feels he lives in his father’s shadow and has a strong desire to surpass him as a ninja.

The film was released in Japan in 2015, two years before the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series was made. It will be available on AnimeBox this Friday, March 31, 2023, with dubbing in Spanish and Catalan, along with the original version with Spanish subtitles.

Upcoming Premieres on AnimeBox

Apart from Boruto: Naruto the Movie, many new series are expected to premiere in the coming weeks. AnimeBox’s “Coming Soon” section features One Piece: Film Red, Haikyu!! season 2, Noragami Aragoto, Shingeki no Kyojin season 2, and Assassination Classroom season 2. With these new series and more to come in the future, AnimeBox is definitely worth checking out for anime lovers.
