A new twist in the sports betting case in Italy. While Sandro Tonali and Nicolò Fagioli have been suspended for 10 and 7 months respectively for multiple offenses related to this illicit practice, another player’s name has been mentioned in the last few hours as part of the investigation.
According to the Italian press agency AGI, the name of former PSG player Alessandro Florenzi is now included in the list of suspects. The agency specifies that AC Milan’s defender is expected to be questioned in the coming days as part of this investigation. Before him, Nicolò Zaniolo had to undergo the same procedure and subsequently escaped a sanction.
