After sharing many images on the universe in which Avatar 2 will be deployed, producer Jon Landau has reserved a new surprise for fans and curious about the franchise. He released concept art by artist Jonathan Bach, promising to share other behind-the-scenes images of the planet Pandora.
This new concept art unveils a unique setting, in this case the village of Metkayina.
Nothing more has been communicated about this place, but this post confirms that the aquatic element will be central in this sequel. The plot of Avatar 2 was partly communicated by producer Jon Landau, last may : “We will follow the history of the Sully family, and [raconter] what one must do to keep one’s family together. Jake and Ney’tiri have a family in this movie. They are forced to leave their homes, they go and explore the different regions of Pandora, including spending some time on the water, around the water and in the water..”
Still directed by James Cameron, Avatar 2 will once again feature Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore and Sigourney Weaver. Newcomers will also make their appearance: Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel and Oona Chaplin.
