Angelina Jolie proud, her daughter Zahara makes her debut at a famous university

After Maddox, it’s Zahara’s turn to enter university, to the delight of Angelina Jolie.

The end of high school has already come for the eldest of the Jolie-Pitt girls, Zahara. Now 17, she will join Spelman University at the start of the next school year. This institution located in Atlanta (Georgia) specializes in the liberal arts and sciences.

On July 31, Angelina Jolie announced that her daughter has been accepted into the prestigious American university. The 47-year-old actress and director shared a photo of Zahara surrounded by some of her future classmates on her Instagram account. “It is an honor to have a family member among the new students at Spelman. Congratulations to all the new students starting this year.”

Spelman University is a historic and renowned institution. Her website explains that Spelman is the “world leader in the education of women of African descent.”

As a reminder, Zahara was adopted by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the age of seven months, in 2005, and she has always maintained strong ties with her country of birth, Ethiopia.

In addition to her brilliant film career, Angelina Jolie takes her role as a mother very seriously by investing in the education of her children. In 2018, she had accompanied her eldest Maddox (20) to South Korea, to visit several universities. The star is also the mother of Pax (18 years old), Shiloh (16 years old), Vivenne and Knox (13 years old).
