Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd have a common project. The 23-year-old actress and 32-year-old musician will star in “The Idol,” an HBO-produced series directed by “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson.
A first trailer was shared on July 18, 2022 by the American channel, revealing part of the plot. The teaser, where images of drugs, sex and alcohol follow one another, echoes the very dark universe of the series which unveiled Zendaya, Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeley, Alexa Demie and Jacob Elordi.
