Elon Musk’s transgender daughter has filed a lawsuit to change her name from male to female.
Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, née Xavier Alexander, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court, Santa Monica, to change her name from male to female. According to information from TMZ, revealed on Tuesday, she now wants to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson, after her mother’s maiden name, Justine Wilson.
Asked in court about the reasons for this change, the 18-year-old replied: “My gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with my biological father and no longer wish to be related to him in any way, in any form whatsoever”, can we read in the tabloid. The reasons for their estrangement have never been made public.

On December 16, 2020, the founder of Tesla assured on his Twitter account that he supported transgender people. He had drawn the wrath of Internet users by adding that “all the pronouns they use are an aesthetic nightmare”.

Justine Wilson and Elon Musk welcomed six children. Their eldest son, named Nevada Alexander, died in 2002 ten weeks after birth. The couple, married since 2000, then gave birth to twins Griffin and Xavier in 2004 and then to triplets, Kai Saxon and Damian in 2006 before divorcing two years later.
Elon Musk had two other children with singer Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher: a son named X AE A-XII and a daughter, born to a surrogate mother, nicknamed Y.
