Amazon reveals the first images of The Terminal Listthe new Prime Video series based on the popular novel by Jack Carr. Its premiere is scheduled next July 1 through 8 episodes starring Chris Pratt, who will play the soldier James Reece.

Pratt will not only take the reins of the series in front of the camera, but also behind the scenes. He is part of the executive production team with Jon Schumacher, Antoine Fuqua, Jack Carr, Daniel Shattuck and David DiGilio. In fact, the latter will also be showrunner and writer.
“The Terminal List follows James Reece after his entire Marine platoon is ambushed in a high-risk operation,” the producer reveals in a press release. “However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, putting not only his life, but the lives of those he loves, in danger.”
Pratt will be joined by high-flying actors in a top-tier repertoire: Jared Shaw (Ernest Vickers), JD Pardo (Tony Layun), Tyner Rushing (Liz Riley), LaMonica Garrett (Commander Bill Cox), Christina Vidal (Mac Wilson), Nick Chinlund (Admiral Pillar), Tom Amandes (Vic), Remi Adeleke ( Terrell ‘Tee’ Daniels), Arlo Mertz (Lucy Reece), Anouar H. Smaine (Salah), Matthew Rauch (Captain Howard), Conor Sherry (TJ Howard), Scott C. Roe (Hargrove), Hiram A. Murray (Jackson ) and Justin Garza (Víctor Ramirez), among others. Constance Wu and Taylor Kitsch are other prominent names.
As we said, the series is based on the first novel by Jack Carr, who was Navy SEAL during his active period. The Terminal List is part of a collection that includes True Believer, Savage Son and The Devil’s Hand. The last chapter, In The Blood, will arrive this year.
