The House of the Dragon | 5 fantasy works you can see before the Game of Thrones prequel

HBO Max has presented the new teaser trailer for The House of the Dragon, the expected one spin-off of Game of Thrones. Hundreds of years before the events narrated in the main series, the Targaryen house was already beginning to move the game pieces to place the royal crown on their heads, the one that would make them kings of the Andals, of the First Men and the Lords of the Seven Kingdoms and other noble paraphernalia. Based on the book Blood and Fire by George RR Martin, this production will tell the rise of the ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen.

House of the Dragon will debut next August 21 on HBO Max, so there are still a few months to enjoy it. It is not that the platforms are going to give us a break: long-awaited series such as Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Stranger Things are scheduled for May. Even so, if what you want is to enjoy epic fantasy products, here are some of the most interesting proposals.

Game of Thrones

If The House of the Dragon is a prequel to the Game of Thrones series, it is impossible not to recommend viewing the fiction that started it all. And at what price! George RR Martin, the author of the novels, was actively involved in the development of the series, whose early seasons were based on the A Song of Ice and Fire books.
