The board game Harakiri: Blades of Honor triumphs on Kickstarter and we tell you how to get it

Harakiri: Blades of Honor has become the highest funded dungeon crawling board game in UK Kickstarter history. The game designed by the Spanish publisher Synergic Games has confirmed a new phase of patronage at Kick & Go, as announced in a press release. That means there will be a new chance to get it.

With 4,009 sponsorsthe collection has risen to 654,130 euros. It is a board game set in feudal Japan, recreated in fantasy to offer an immersive experience based on dungeons and cooperative play for up to four players. They promise a “huge” exploration area, a very detailed map and an “epic and strategic” combat system, with enemies controlled by an AI.

Harakiri: Blades of Honor has more than 80 miniatures by sculptors such as Roberto Chaudon (Wizards of the Coast, DC) or Barruz Studio (Corvus Belli, Hellboy). Hennig Ludvigsen (Bloodborne, Star Wars) has been in charge of designing the tiles and stageswhile the Spanish writer David Velasco (Anunnaki File) has outlined the plot of this adventure, which lasts more than 50 hours and where each decision can determine the future of the war against the Shogun.

How can it be achieved?

If you didn’t participate in the Kickstarter campaign, you still have options to get it. The patronage phase will be extended until the end of 2022, although during these first months there will be some exclusive discounts. Its launch is scheduled for May 2023, but Harakiri: Blades of Honor will not be distributed in stores. Therefore, they warn, “this will be the last chance” to acquire it.
