The Real Madrid miracle happened in real life, but it can sure be replayed in the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive. Mario: Battle League Football is an arcade starring Super Mario and company, a title in a saga that returns in style and with all the intention to score a great goal for the entire squad. And for great goals, those seen in the new video game trailer, which you can enjoy on these lines.
The title developed by Next Level Games (Luigi’s Mansion 3) will include at launch 10 characters: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, Waluigi and Rosalina. It is unknown if the squad will be expanded soon with new players who jump onto the pitch.
As in other titles in the saga, Mario: Battle League Football will feature matches of five against five, with a total of four field players and one goalkeeper per team. True to form, the game is designed to use all tricks necessary to defeat the opponent. That includes using objects, aggressive tackles, lightning passes and power shots, in addition to the special shots. The victory? For the one who scores the most goals.
The Nintendo Switch Calendar
Nintendo is already looking at the second half of the year and has prepared a good assortment of titles to feed Switch in the coming months. After the launch of Nintendo Switch Sports, the next great video game is precisely Mario: Battle League Football, which will go on sale on June 10th. It will be followed by Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (July 29) and Splatoon 3 (September 3).
Before the ukrainian war, Nintendo decided to indefinitely delay Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. On the other hand, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been delayed and will not see the light of day until spring 2023.
