The Secretary of Health of Mexico City, Oliva López Arellano, reported that so far they have been vaccinated against the coronavirus to 757 minors, from 12 to 17 years old, who have filed an amparo to receive the dose due to suffering from some comorbidity.
At a press conference, the capital city official stressed that in total 835 amparos have been received to vaccinate minors, of which 78 are in process and assured that all will be taken care of.
“There are 835 shelters, of which 757 people have been vaccinated and the rest are in process, all the shelters are attended,” he said in the Old City Hall.
He highlighted that all minors with protection are being summoned at the Cencis Marina, located in the Coyoacán mayor’s office.
On October 8, the Secretary of Health indicated that up to that date 141 amparos had been received, of which 105 had been attended.
