Activists and cycling groups closed the intersection of Avenida Solidaridad Las Torres to demand justice for the death of Miguel Ángel, a worker from the Toluca City Council who was run over while going to work aboard a bicycle in the Capital of the State of Mexico.
Cyclists demonstrated on Avenida las Torres, where a City Hall worker was run over last Tuesday.
Protesters call for more safety for cyclists.
The worker in the parks and gardens area was hit by a public transport unit and died in the place that is located on one of the most important roads that connect the Toluca Valley.
The groups convened a filming that left this afternoon from Paseo Colón to Las Torres and Eduardo Monroy, where the death was recorded.
At the point, the activists blocked the passage in the four directions of the cruise, placed their bicycles as barricades and painted in the shapes of human bodies, products of deaths.
“Justice”, “The streets belong to everyone”, “Our life is worth more than its track” and “Respect for the cyclist”, were some of the slogans of the groups.
