Sitges 2021: Victor Matellano presents My Adored Monster

Víctor Matellano’s seventh feature film, non-fiction My beloved monster, a creative documentary, begins his participation in festivals and his commercial career.

Produced by Enrique López Lavigne for The study, in co-production with Infilmity, ViMa, and with the participation of EMB Documental, with an original idea by Víctor Matellano, and a script by Manuel Tallafé with the director himself, My beloved monster narrates very creatively and comedically, with little touches of drama, the gestation of one of the cursed films of Spanish cinema: Los resucitado, a film by Arturo de Bobadilla, with a tortuous and chaotic production, which took twenty-three years to be released …
