The 87 premieres that you can see this weekend on Netflix, Disney +, Movistar +, HBO Max

There are quiet weekends, with several premieres to sign up and watch. And then there are weekends like the first of spring and April, which involve so many premieres that it is impossible to see everything. Because in fact from April 1 to 3 there are up to 87 premieres between the different VOD platforms in Spain, with 18 from Netflix and more than 50 from Filmin.

On Netflix we have The bubble: Judd Apatow’s comedy that deals with the new normality and the rules of filming in the time of the Coronavirus, with a group of actors who are making an action film that cannot go outside, but everything must be shot in a studio and with chroma. AND Apollo 10 and a half: A Space Childhood, a film by Richard Linklater (Before… trilogy) that returns to the field of rotoscopic animation -painting over the film already shot- with an 80s-style science fiction film in which a boy has the opportunity to work for The NASA.

The most outstanding premiere of Netflix is Welcome to Eden: A series with beautiful people in a cast led by Amaia Salamanca, and with a plot that seems like an Instagrammer’s worst nightmare, in which five handsome and attractive influencers go to a mega-exclusive party organized by a drink brand organized in a secret island. What they will experience there will change their lives, and will make them see that paradise is not so beautiful and attractive, if they manage to leave.

On HBO Max none other than one of the Wizarding World surgent of the saga Harry Potter: Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History, a documentary presented by that national treasure that is Stephen Fry that delves into the populated animal world of the sagas to discover the inspirations of the mythological creatures of the stories.

From Europe, on day 1 we get the thriller Thawingthe political drama The Informant and two very varied programs: checking, a personal and literal journey through the Czech Republic discovering its gastronomy and beauty; and One True Singer, the Romanian talent show that starts right where others end.

And the fourth season of the wacky kiwi supernatural comedy Wellington Paranormal, a spin-off of the masterful What We Do in the Shadows that follows in the wake of Taika Waititi’s absurd and quality comedy, and that follows Minogue and O’Leary, two police officers who are dedicated to investigating all kinds of paranormal events that are taking place in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, with ghosts, Nosferatu-style vampires or hideous bugs nicknamed ‘Cheese Face’.

The reboot of El Internado: Cumbres Mayores returns on Amazon Prime Video. In the second season of the new Internship, the death of a certain character at the end of the first one caused a bunch that outraged the director, who now imposes an even stricter discipline than the one already in force in the center. Furthermore, after Rita’s death, no one doubts that a serial killer, an alleged Raven’s Nest copycat, is responsible for the crimes. However, Amaia, Paul, Paz, Eric and Julio are not going to sit idly by, especially now that thanks to Adèle, they believe they can find Manuel alive. Will they arrive in time to save him? Who is behind the laboratory that is carrying out research with humans? And, most importantly, what is the point of all these experiments?

AND a wolf like me: a new drama series but with a touch of fantasy starring Isla Fisher and Josh Gad. Gary lives with his daughter Emma in the suburbs of Adelaide, in South Australia. Both are recovering from the loss of Emma’s mother and struggle to connect with each other. One morning, Gary and Emma’s car is hit by a Jeep running a red light. Emma has a panic attack and is comforted by Mary, the owner of the Jeep to Garay’s amazement, she is able to calm Emma down.

on Disney+ Nate’s dream: 13-year-old Nate Foster dreams of Broadway, but there’s a little problem: he can’t even get a part in the school play. But when his parents leave town, Nate and his best friend Libby seize the opportunity and sneak off to the Big Apple to prove everyone wrong. A chance meeting with Heidi, Nate’s long-lost aunt, turns their journey upside down and together they learn that life’s greatest adventures are as big as your dreams. AND Quills, 2000 film in which a huge Geoffrey Rush (Pirates of the Caribbean, Shine) got into the madness of the iconic Marquis de Sade.

and in filmin Universal Special: Filmin premieres 50 titles between classics, cult films and modern classics from the Universal studio.
