Apple releases iOS 15.4.1: solution to battery problems

A couple of weeks ago, Apple released the long-awaited iOS 15.4 update, which among other new features brought us the power to unlock the iPhone with a mask. But since it was activated, some users have been complaining about autonomy problems on their iPhone and iPad, seeing how their battery drained earlier after installing iOS 15.4.

iOS 15.4.1

After taking note of the problems, Apple has put an end to them by launching this week iOS 15.4.1, a small update that comes to solve this problem of abnormal energy consumption. The patch is version 19E258.

You can update your iPhone by going to the app Settings, selecting General, and then tapping Software Update.Here are the iOS 15.4.1 release notes for iPhone and iPad users:

  • Battery may drain faster than expected after updating to iOS/iPadOS 15.4
  • Braille displays may stop responding when navigating text or displaying an alert
  • iPhone/iPad hearing devices may lose connection with some third-party apps.
