After landing Thursday March 24 in the Bahamas, Kate Middleton and Prince William were welcomed by the Prime Minister and his wife, Philip and Ann Marie Davis. A stopover which marked the last stage of their royal tour. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began their trip with a stay in Belize and then in Jamaica, a week punctuated by an outing in the jungle where the royal couple took a survival course. This Friday, March 25, for their first day in Nassau in the Bahamas, Prince William and his wife went to a school where they were able to talk with the students. Resplendent for their last evening
Later that evening, Kate Middleton and Prince William attended a party at the Baha Mar Resort hotel on Cable Beach in Nassau. Prince William’s wife wore a long silver dress tied at the shoulders, while the latter was dressed in a black velvet suit decorated with a bow tie. Welcomed by the Governor-General of the Bahamas, Cornelius Alvin Smith, the couple was able to meet several leaders of the community as well as many personalities of the island during this celebration. “They are both so refreshing. She said she loved the culture of the Bahamas,” said Christie Prosper, one of the guests to the media “People”.
