Movie listings: all the premiere films this week (March 25-27)

We have reached the end of the week and, as is tradition at FreeGameTips, this Friday, March 25, we are going to review all premiere movies that arrive at the cinemas of Spain. It is a special weekend, given that this Sunday the Oscars of the Film Academy will be awarded in Hollywood; so the desire to go to dark rooms and enjoy what we like so much, the cinema, is felt in the environment. Camera Café, Belle, Goodbye Mr Haffman and The top are some of the prominent names. These are the premiere films this weekend (March 25 to 27) in cinemas throughout Spain.

Camera Café, the movie

The company is now facing a severe crisis that must be faced by its new director, the intrepid and mischievous… Quesada! Humor in every corner, of course.

Goodbye Mr. Haffmann

Synopsis: One of the most anticipated films of the week, very well valued by critics and especially hard. A drama based in Paris, 1942. François Mercier is a normal guy who just wants to start a family with his wife. Mercier is also an employee of Haffman, a jeweler. Everything changes when Germany invades the country and a completely different relationship begins, which will change the destiny of the three protagonists. Love, war, drama, with moral lessons.

Belle

Synopsis: From Japan comes this film from Studio Chizu, one of the best animated films of 2021 according to numerous competitions, in which a story is told in the purest style Beauty and the Beast with a cyberpunk touch. 17-year-old Suzu leaves for the outskirts of Kochi prefecture after losing his mother. He will soon discover U, a virtual space where he will step into Belle’s shoes. Very immersive.

Synopsis: a Spanish film about a mountaineering and climbing adventure. Mateo (Javier Rey) will face Annapura for the first time, the most dangerous mountain on the planet. In his ascent he will suffer an accident that leaves him unconscious and injured. Hours later he will be found by another climber. From there, both will try to reach their goal together.

Synopsis: Spanish thriller about the Civil War in El Salvador, based on real events. We are in November 1989, in the midst of the Salvadoran civil war. We are told the true story of Lucía, the only witness to the massacre of the Jesuits in that country. She knows who the real killers are: the army.

Synopsis: From France comes this French family drama that is reaping great criticism from the specialized media. Julie, the protagonist, gets a job interview that will allow her to take better care of her children, but she soon finds herself faced with a national transportation strike.

Melancholia

Synopsis: Spanish horror film produced by Maruxiña Film Company. The story of Sira and Pepe is told, who after ten years living in Berlin go to Galicia, their homeland. They will buy an abandoned house where a lady lives with whom they will start a somewhat strange relationship.

The Blacks

  • Duration: 78 minutes.

Synopsis: Spanish documentary about religion and slavery in the 14th century. The black slaves of Africa have to live with hardly any resources in Seville. Gonzalo de Mena will be in charge of creating a hospital and a chapel for them, in addition to sealing a brotherhood with them so that they integrate into the country’s culture.
