The iPhone 14 could have a reduced notch

The iPhone is one of the most important smartphones. Since its launch, Apple has been able to combine design and power in the same device and it still continues to inspire many companies. One of its most notable details in recent years has been the notch, one that could almost completely disappear in the iPhone 14 version.

This could be the front of the iPhone 14

The renders are often a ray of light that shows us what the devices of the future will be like. And it is that they are the ones that allow us to dream of those designs that sooner or later we will end up seeing from the different manufacturers. But it is true that the designs of one or another brand are exciting to a greater or lesser extent, and the case of the iPhone is always one of the first.

And it is that we are at a time of the year in which we remain expectant of what the Cupertino firm does. In fact, not knowing the final plans, it is these models that attract attention as we see in this new render of an iPhone 14 with hardly any notch.

And it is hard to believe that the iPhone is left without a notch, at least in a way as we currently know it. And it is that this space that stands out in the upper part of the device could be reduced to the point of being a simple hole in the upper part of the terminal. According to the guys at 91mobiles, there would be two front holes: one completely circular and one pill-shaped.

On the back we would find no less than three cameras on the back, something that already counts in the Pro and Ultra version of the Cupertino terminals. However, this is not visible in the render, so it is still unknown.

Will this be the time Apple ditches the notch?

We have been talking for years that Apple is thinking that the notch should disappear. It will be a transition that is made little by little, although at the moment everything points to the opposite. And it is that the notch has transcended beyond their phones, and there is nothing more to see than the latest generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros that have them in the upper frame of the device. We will see in mid-2022 if this becomes a reality or if it is just another dream.
