Extra fine and organic green beans can be harvested for free. Nadine did not hesitate to roll up her sleeves. “They are beautiful and tender, I think we are going to enjoy it”, she rejoices. For this couple of farmers, it is the only solution to avoid destroying the harvest, because the agri-food group which was to buy these green beans finally refused them. “It’s about 150 tonnes in organic farming. We said to ourselves that we can’t leave it like that, it’s impossible,” explains Emmanuel Calers, farmer.
