Actress Evangeline Lilly is clear that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the best film of the three installments of the Marvel Studios character.
In 2015 it premiered Ant-Man, a film that introduced Scott Lang interpreted by Paul Rudd. This delivery of Marvel Studios served as comic relief after such an important event as Avengers: Age of Ultron. In 2018 something similar happened and after Avengers: Infinity War we could see Ant-Man and the Wasp. But with the third installment things will be different. Since there will be no story that will bring together the mightiest of the Earth before and therefore they will change the tone a little to do something much more epic in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
In fact, the actress Evangeline Lilly It is clear that the third will be the best of the trilogy. This was revealed in a recent interview:
“We finished filming at the end of November and I think, without a doubt, it was the hardest thing we’ve ever done. It was the most difficult. It was the only one we did during the COVID lockdowns. That just adds such an incredible complication to making a movie. It adds a lot of stress. It makes things very impersonal because you can’t see the faces.”
“The sets are impersonal enough already, there’s a lot going on and a lot that has to be done in a short amount of time, and the level of intensity is very, very high. So it was a very difficult experience to make the movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania with the COVID measures. But actually I think…what we did, the stuff we shot, the footage we managed to get, I think it might be the best one yet.”
What will the movie be about?
So far we have very few details about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, but we know they will repeat Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne / Wasp, Paul Rudd like Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne/Original Wasp and Michael Douglas like Dr. Hank Pym/original Ant-Man. They will also include Kathryn Newton como Cassie Lang, Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, Paul Fairlie like Nomad and Tony McCarthy as humanoid. Will also be Bill Murray, although it has not been confirmed what role he will play.
Supposedly the Quantum Realm will be much more important in this movie and the protagonists will be in that place much longer, that’s why we won’t see characters like Maggie Lang (Judy Greer) The Paxton (Bobby Cannavale) that are part of everyday life. Scott Lang. The great villain will be Kang the Conqueror of which we already saw a variant in the series Loki from Disney Plus.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on July 28, 2023. While we wait, you can enjoy the previous two installments on the Disney Plus streaming platform.
