The Marvel Studios movies could bring back one of the great heroes we’ve seen die in the MCU.
As we learned in Avengers: Endgame, “deaths” do not have to be “deaths” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (UCM). If something has become clear to us by watching the films of this studio, it is that everything is possible. It is a world where gods, magic, sorcerers, witches, supermen and all kinds of mythological beings exist. So someone dodging death shouldn’t be a problem, not to mention that there are already rumors to resurrect Thanos.
However, today we are going to talk about the possible plans that Kevin Feige’s studio would have to resurrect one of his great deceased heroes. We are talking about Ikaris, the character played by Richard Madden in Eternals, the most successful movie in the history of Disney Plus.
As reported in social networks, they have hunted down Joe Kennard, Ikaris’ stunt double in Eternals, preparing a Marvel Studios project in which “a character returns to the UCM.” Who is it about? Some bet it will be a surprise for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but the biggest rumors speak of a resurrection of Ikaris. In the end, it would make all the sense in the world.
The resurrection of The Eternals is the easiest to carry out
As we were told in Chloé Zhao’s film, The Eternals can never fully die. The Celestials have a kind of forge in the imaginary Olympia in which they treasure all the memories that these characters have lived throughout the centuries. Millions and millions of memories and information stored in small cosmic chambers that would allow everyone to be brought back, whoever they are.
If Marvel Studios finally decides to bring Ikaris back to the MCU, for us it would be a real success. We are talking about one of the most powerful superheroes that we have been presented in the movies. A kind of Superman who would give a lot of play in Phase 4. We will see what they finally decide, but we bet that it will be Ikaris. Maybe for the Eternals sequel, if it ever happens.
