WarnerMedia Latin America’s TNT Sports has acquired the exclusive and multi-platform rights to the upcoming Club World Cup, reported in a press release.
The FIFA tournament will be held from February 3 to 12 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and brings together the champions of the six confederations plus a representative from the host country.

In Mexico, the eight matches of the tournament will be broadcast on the TNT channel. In addition, they will be accompanied by digital coverage that will include summaries of the matches and initiatives on TNT Sports’ social networks.
“Our regional strategy is focused on strengthening the connection with the public by offering a first-class multiplatform experience, and in that sense the FIFA Club World Cup is exceptional,” said Gustavo Minaker, head of Latin American Sports and general manager of WarnerMedia. Chili.

Since the 2021-2022 season began, TNT Sports has had the rights in Mexico for the UEFA Champions League, the most important club tournament in Europe. Their matches are broadcast on the TNT channel and on the HBO Max streaming platform.
Rayados de Monterrey got their ticket to the Club World Cup after winning the Concacaf Champions League.
This will be his third participation in the contest. The first time was in 2012 and the second in 2019. In both tournaments he finished in third place.
To date, their staunch rival, Tigres, is the only Mexican club to have been runner-up in the Club World Cup.
Rayados’ first rival will be Al-Ahly SC, whom he will face on February 5. In case of winning, they will go to the semifinal and will face Palmeiras.
