The number one tennis player in the world, the Serbian Novak Djokovic, continues to be the protagonist of several controversies. Now, after being deported from Australia for failing to meet the oceanic country’s vaccination requirements, he was photographed on the plane taking him back to Serbia with the mask hanging from one ear while reading a book.
The image soon became viral and numerous users denounced the irresponsibility of his attitude, given the danger it represents for the rest of the passengers.

Djokovic’s popularity has been greatly affected by his attitude towards the coronavirus and his decision not to get vaccinated, which have made him a symbol of anti-vaccines and deniers against covid-19.
Djokovic left Australia last Sunday, after the country’s Federal Court issued its final ruling, which again canceled the athlete’s visa. He is currently in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, where he was greeted by a crowd of supporters.
