Heritage days: the visit of the Elysée

To enter the Elysée this year, health pass and compulsory mask. In the gardens, first photos and first impressions. “It’s beautiful, we can already see the chandeliers. It makes you want to go inside,” says a visitor. Inside, we have essential pieces. There is in particular the room of the Council of Ministers and the contemporary style office of the First lady. Then upstairs, there is that of the President of the Republic, renovated two years ago.

This weekend is also an opportunity to promote the professions of the Elysée. Florists, artisans, cooks … 800 people work here all year round. Today visitors will only see the presidential couple in photos. By tomorrow evening, 10,000 people are expected, twice as many as last year.
