Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has everything ready to make the leap to cinemas around the world this May. The second film of Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, framed in the hectic Phase 4, is directed by Sam Raimi and, despite the difficulties that the tape has had for its recording due to the pandemic, your filming is finally over.
Benedict Cumberbatch is the great protagonist of the world of cinema during the first half of 2022. Not only because of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, but also because of The Power of the Dog, Jane Campion’s film for Netflix that is known as one of the great favorites at the Oscars. In statements to Deadline, the British actor has confirmed that he is all set with his new role as Doctor Strange: “I am excited by the reaction to the teaser trailer at the end of Spider-Man,” he comments, referring to one of the post-credit scenes of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is still the first trailer for the film.
He also adds that last Saturday they finished capturing some additional photographic shots, so it is ready for its premiere on May 6. An eventual date change is strictly dependent on Disney and Marvel plans.
