South Korea’s entertainment industry is in mourning. Actress Kim Mi-soo passed away suddenly at the age of 29, her agency reported. The young woman died on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, leaving her loved ones “heartbroken” and in total shock.
Kim Mi-soo participated in productions such as “Lipstick Revolution” and “Kyungmi’s World”, as well as in the drama “Hi Bye, Mama!”. However, her role in the series “Snowdrop,” a popular Korean drama that airs on Disney +, made her famous.
The young South Korean had already started filming “Kiss Six Sense” her new series for Disney +, but the production company has canceled the filming in a sign of mourning. Kim Mi-soo had a promising acting career within the entertainment world in South Korea, she also served as a model.

“The grieving family is currently very heartbroken by the sudden and sad news. The bereaved are deeply in their pain at the sudden sadness, “Landscape agency shared in a statement.
“We sincerely ask you to refrain from inventing rumors or speculative reports regarding the cause of death, so that the family can commemorate the deceased with reverence,” the document reads.
It was reported that Kim Mi-soo’s funeral will be held in private. In addition, they asked the followers of the South Korean actress that the soul of the young woman rest in peace.

Kim Mi-soo is best remembered for her role on the controversial South Korean television series “Snowdrop.” The show, which premiered in December, is a period drama set in 1987 in Korea that tells the story of a budding romance amid the political turmoil of the pro-democracy movement.
The late actress played a history student and roommate of Young-ro, the female lead in “Snowdrop,” a role played by South Korean singer Jisoo of the popular group Blackpink.
In addition to this series, Kim appeared in a wide variety of films and shorts.
