2022 is exciting for Star Wars fans. Lucasfilm plans the premiere of some of the most anticipated series set in the galaxy far, far away, but before that happens, we will still be able to enjoy the remaining six episodes of the first season of The Book of Boba Fett. The series, which has already released its first chapter, introduces deleted footage from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. If you have not seen it, we recommend you not to read more, because they come gutted.
At the beginning of the episode A Stranger in a Strange Land, we see Boba Fett inside a healing capsule. That’s when memories and nightmares awaken, when the bounty hunter recalls some of the tragic events of his childhood. An image of Kamino is projected, the planet surrounded by water and beset by storms; also the moment in which the little Boba observes the naked helmet of his father, Jango Fett, killed moments before by the Jedi master Mace Windu.
The sequence on Geonosis is presented from a different shot from the movie. The remains of battle droids are seen, only for a very brief period of time. The timeline then progresses to Return of the Jedi and the Sarlacc, but that’s quite another story.
