Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne launch a casting for an upcoming feature film produced by their company Films of the River.
The directors are looking for a boy black (sub-Saharan Africa) between 11 and 13 years old and young lady black (sub-Saharan Africa) between 15 and 17 years old to play the main roles, NK Casting announced on Monday.

In 2019, the Dardenne brothers had won, in Cannes, the Best Director Award for Young Ahmed. The film had also received two awards at the Magritte du cinema 2020 ceremony, namely that of the Best Male Hope (Idir Ben Addi) and that of the best actress in a supporting role (Myriem Akheddiou).
