On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, the relatives of actor Paul Walker paid tribute to the one who disappeared eight years ago in a tragic car accident. The daughter of the hero of the “Fast and Furious” saga, Meadow Walker, unveiled a touching memory on her Instagram account to honor the memory of her late father. The 23-year-old posted an older photo in which Paul Walker appears, tenderly kissing her then-child daughter. In the caption of the post, Meadow Walker wrote, “I love you and miss you endlessly. Today and every day, I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend ”. Since the death of his father, Meadow Walker has created the Paul Walker Foundation, which aims to protect wildlife and the oceans.
The actor who co-starred with Paul Walker in “Fast and the Furious,” Vin Diesel, also took to the pen to pay a moving tribute to his friend who would have turned 48 this year. Also on Instagram, the American star posted a photo featuring her daughter alongside Meadow Walker. She is very close to her father’s friend, who is also her godfather and who led her to the altar on the day of her marriage to Louis Thornton-Allan in October 2021.
“I miss you…”
In the caption of his Instagram post, Vin Diesel spoke directly to Paul Walker and wrote: “I have so much to tell you … I remember the day you and I shot this scene in F4 where we were eating chinese food and where we had a sibling fight scene that ended with your line “Letty just wanted you to come home, Dom …”. When we finished shooting that day, you came to my trailer and asked me what was on my mind. You always knew when I had something on my mind. Haha. I told you I was having a baby and didn’t know what to expect at the hospital I was going to after work. I’ll never forget what you told me … you said a lot of badass will tell you to wait outside the delivery room, but that’s not true. Go ahead, cut the umbilical cord and it will be the happiest day of your life. You, of course, you were talking about your experience, already having an angel of your own. It’s been eight years today … and not a day goes by that I don’t think about the brotherhood we were lucky enough to have … but you know it. The tragedies of life are always followed by blessings of life if you stay open and have faith. Look at this picture Pablo, it will make you smile. The same angel that you have helped me to prepare in the most beautiful way with your fraternal guidance is the same angel that the precious Meadow asked for as a bridesmaid. How could I have known that on the Fast set in 2008 … but maybe you did. I miss you. My children always tell me “uncle Paul is with you daddy”, always … and I know in my heart that they are right. I miss you Pablo … ”.
A moving text which reflects the sadness long held by the American actor who confided in 2015 to “Parisian“On this subject:” His death, I’m just starting to get over it. Because of my father, my children, because of the fact that I am a public figure, I had to hide my grief. I buried it, this sadness! I hid myself to cry, away from my children. Every morning, I woke up, and I realized that Paul was no longer there ”.
