14-Year-Old Teenager Who Went Missing in Marseille on December 22nd Found in Paris

A teenager, aged 14, and living in Marseille, was found at Gare de Lyon in Paris on Saturday, December 30th, according to the Marseille prosecutor’s office, confirming BFMTV’s information.

The young girl had been missing since December 22nd. She showed up at the police station in Gare de Lyon, explaining that she had run away. The police had indeed found that she was the subject of a search warrant. An investigation had been opened from the day of her disappearance for the worrying disappearance of a minor.

“Temporary accommodations”

The teenager explained that she had run away by “finding temporary accommodations”, according to the prosecutor’s office as cited by Le Figaro. According to the same source, she indicated that she had not experienced “any coercion or abuse.”

BFMTV had gathered a testimony from her father on Saturday, explaining that he had warned his daughter about her relationships, especially her boyfriend. He said he had found a letter from her in her room explaining that she was leaving.

Her father is on his way to pick her up, the prosecutor’s office said.
