Wanda Mae Herrington, 80, of Chrisman, Illinois, passed away at 3:08 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman.
She was a former employee of Zenith and U.O. Colson Company of Paris for a number of years, and later worked as a cook at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village. She was born March 4, 1931, in Kansas Township, Edgar County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ira F. and Lola (Pinnell) Boyer. She married Charles William Herrington on June 18, 1950, at the Boyer family home near Redmon, Illinois, and he survives. Other survivors include a son, David Herrington of Paris, Illinois; two daughters, Margie (Ed) Hornback of Ridge Farm, Illinois, and Donna Eldridge of Westcliff, Colorado; two brothers, Richard (Mamie) Boyer of Chrisman, Illinois, and Larry (Nila) Boyer of Cunningham, Tennessee; two grandsons, Will Hornback of Ridge Farm, Illinois, and Wes Hornback of Savoy, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Christopher Eldridge; a brother, Ronnie Boyer; and an infant sister and brother.
